processing. Developed by the Beef Industry Food Safety Council
and sponsored by the Beef Checkoff system.

Center of the National Agricultural Library Information,

- Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) CDC serves as the national focus for developing
and applying disease prevention and control, environmental health,
and health promotion and education activities designed to improve
the health of the people of the United States. Food safety information
can be found in many of their published statistics and periodicals
including Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR).

Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) - Includes news factsheets,
documents and links. Topics include biotechnology; consummer advice,
food additives, pesticides and chemicals; foodborne illness; food
labeling and nutrition information, imports, inspections and HACCP,
and much more. CFSAN is an agency of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
