• Economic Research Service. Economic analysis branch of the USDA. Produces numerous statistical data. Also produces Amber Waves a magazine covering the economics of food, farming, natural resources, and rural America.
• USDA Office of the Chief Economist. Advises the Secretary of Agriculture on the economic implications of policies and programs affecting the U.S. agriculture. Publishes USDA Agricultural Baseline Projections. Publishes USDA Agricultural Baseline Projection, which projects longterm commodity and agricultural trade forecasts.
