If you're using the on-campus version,
your computer must be directly connected to the campus backbone
with a network card and you must have the proper winsock (TCP/IP)
or MacTCP driver installed on your computer. (If you already use
Netscape, Mosaic, FTP, Telnet or TCP3270/1TN3270 on your computer,
you have the required network hardware and software installed.)
Only selected databases are available from off-campus.
If you have a notebook computer that's used both
on- and off-campus, you'll need to have both versions of the software
loaded into different directories on the hard drive.
For Help
If you have questions about obtaining a network
connection, network card or the TCP/IP software contact the ITS
Help Desk at 231-8685.
