The Center for Writers is in the lower level
of the Library. You can phone them at (701) 231-7927.
Note: Subject
Librarians also have Web Pages with a variety of
information links and documents.
Library Hours
Always check the library
calendar for changes during holidays, breaks, and summer
sessions. This Calendar gives specific information for the
Main Library. Check the branch library calendars for branch
hours:
* The P. N. Haakenson Health Sciences Library
hours for Saturdays and Sundays may vary during the academic
year. Please check the above calendar to verify open hours.
Circulation Privileges
McNair students have graduate student privileges.
You may check out books for 120 days (renewable once); you
may also check out journals for fivedays (no renewals). Books
you have checked out may be recalled by another person (and
vice versa) after two weeks of use.
InterLibrary Loan Privileges
If the NDSU Library does not have the book or
journal you need, we will borrow it or obtain a photocopy
from another library or commercial document supply service.
There may be a charge for obtaining books or patents, but
there is currently no charge for journal articles. There are
a number of ways to request InterLibrary
Loan services:
- Fill out a request
form on the Web.
- Fill out an InterLibrary loan request form
and return it to the InterLibrary Loan office.
