in north Fargo. Lindbergh had landed this plane early in the afternoon
of Aug. 26, 1927, as part of an 82-city tour across the United States.
A fence surrounds the airplane, and crowds of people are visible
in the foreground and behind the plane. In the background are automobiles,
rows of trees, and buildings on the fairgrounds. |
