Politics
and Government
The collecting of political papers and records has not been a focus of
the Institute in the past. Yet, it has acquired and preserved a number
of historically significant political collections. Of particular significance
are the papers of Minnie Craig, S.A. Olsness, and Ole H. Olson. Of more
recent times are the papers of Donna Nalewaja, Charles Fleming, James Berg,
John Paulson, and George Sinner. The Institute continues to solicit not
only the papers of individuals involved in politics but also the records
of organizations involved in the political process.
