James
Berg represented Fargo's 44th District in the 53rd and 55th North Dakota
Legislative Sessions. His papers document his election campaigns and
as well as his legislative career. The legislative papers consist largely
of correspondence and files related to issues for which he was most
concerned. One of his particular interests was youth issues and services.
The papers include an extensive series of documents he amassed while
serving on the Interim Budget Committee on Youth Services (1993-1994).
