Lutheran
Hospitals and Homes Society was founded in 1938 in Fargo, N.D. It owned
and managed hospitals and nursing homes accross the western United States,
with corporate headquarters in Fargo until its merger to form Banner.
This publications dominated collection includes books, periodicals,
reports and other documents issued by LHHS and its later name Lutheran
Health Systems. The collection also includes historical works, including
an unpublished history.
