James
Barbary Beeching was born in 1922 in Sussex, England. Since the mid
1950's he has lived extensively outside of England and traveled widely.
During the 1965-66 academic year he was poet in residence at North Dakota
State University where he worked on the manuscript for The Dakota Project.
He has published extensively in poetry, novels, historical works, and juvenile
literature.
