The
F-M Centennial Corporation in 1974 asked the History Section of the Fine
Arts Club to prepare the Fargo portion of a history of Fargo-Moorhead to
be issued in conjunction with the Centennial celebration in June, 1975.
Mrs. E. G. Clapp, Jr. as program chairman of the History Section assumed
overall responsibility for researching various subject areas. After
all the research, writing, and photographs were assembled, the N.D.S.U.
Communications Department organized the physical layout of the book..
