Fargo-Moorhead Centennial

In 1973, the Fargo Chamber of Commerce began making plans to celebrate Fargo's incorporation in 1975.  The Chamber soon began making plans for a joint celebration with Moorhead, Minnesota.  Plans were made to have a joint celebration that would run from May to June 1975 culminating in the week of June 21 to 28.  The celebration was quite successful and an example of cooperation between the two cities.

The collection consists of articles of incorporation and by-laws, meeting minutes, correspondence, financial records, events and subject files.  The meeting minutes (1973-1975) appear to be only partially complete and include those of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee..
