Collection of ledgers kept in the auditor's office documenting the early financial affairs of the City of Fargo. The financial series includes warrants issued, check registers, cash books and bound contracts entered into by the city (1887-1898), sidewalk assessments (1889-1914), licenses issued (1931-1944) and record of ordinances - both proposed and adopted for the period 1933-1955.
