County, N.D. and people involved with different aspects of Cass County.
This section contains papers relating to welfare, schools, courts, and the coroner's
office. The Institute continues to solicit and is interested in acquiring
papers and records relating to Cass County and individuals involved with
the various levels of government in Cass County.

located in the extreme northeastern corner of Cass County along the Red
River.

Records of the smallest
township in the state and bordered on the west by North University Drive,
on the south by 12th Avenue North, and on the north and east by the Red
River.

received his medical degree from the University of Kansas and served three
terms as Cass County Coroner from 1933 to 1939.

Over 3300 divorce cases were handled in district court in Cass County, N.D. between 1878 and 1942. Because the grounds for divorce were liberal and residency requirement no more than 90 days many people from Eastern states, Canada and even over seas, came to North Dakota to obtain a relatively fast divorce.
