Norene Roberts, an architectural historian, conducted a number of architectural research surveys in North Dakota, through her firm Historical Research, Inc. in Minneapolis. The papers here reflect those surveys and other research work done in the state. The papers include correspondence, field notes, research files, reports, and nomination forms. Her primary work was done in Fargo and Grand Forks, N.D. as well as Devils Lake. In addition there is a section devoted to her research on historic post offices in the state. Copies of all final reports, listed on the Separations Section, have been cataloged into the Institute publications collection.
