The Baldwin Corporation was an Appleton, Wisconsin based company, founded in 1898 by George Baldwin.  At its peak, the Baldwin Corporation held 75,000 acres in Dickey County, North Dakota.

The Baldwins divided their holdings into eight ranches (farms).  After the provision in the will of George Baldwin, Sr. calling for the Company to be held in a trust, they began the gradual selling off of the ranches due to high cost of maintenance.  The Baldwin Corporation came to an end in 1955 when the final three ranches were sold to an Ellendale man.
