Interlibrary Loan

Specific books or periodical articles not owned by the NDSU Libraries may be obtained through Interlibrary Loan from other libraries. To obtain materials through Interlibrary Loan, use:

  • Our Online Request Form
  • Click on the Interlibrary Loan link in the navigation bar when viewing a citation in ODIN. If you are not signed in, ODIN will ask you for your user ID/password and return you to the record or the item. Click on the Interlibrary Loan link again to set up the ILL.
  • In ODIN, a blank Interlibrary Loan form is available to fill out using the link on the My Account page. Sign-In to ODIN and locate the link Interlibrary Loan Request (Blank) in the navigation bar. Both book and journal forms are available.
  • Fill out an Interlibrary Loan request card for each item. Request cards are available at the Interlibrary Loan Desk. Turn in the filled-out card at the Interlibrary Loan Desk.

Be sure to give complete information, and include your barcode number from your Library ID. Incomplete requests will be returned to you.
