Update on future Journey to the Homeland Tours sponsored by the North Dakota State University Libraries

2015

To: Persons interested in the Journey to the Homeland Tours

From: Michael M. Miller, Director & Bibliographer
Tour Director, Journey to the Homeland Tours

We are pleased that there continues to be an interest in visiting Odessa, Ukraine, and the former Bessarabian and Black Sea villages. Unfortunately, we are unable to travel to Ukraine with the Journey to the Homeland Tours due to the current political situation.

Due to the interest in these we will be offering a tour to the Homeland of our ancestors again this year! This year we will be offering a tour to Germany that does not include time in Ukraine. Our tour to Germany will give us the opportunity to hear personal stories from German-Russians who returned to Germany and to learn more about our ancestors through presentations by experts in German-Russian history. We will visit many iconic places in Germany and are sure it will be an unforgettable trip!
