The Germans from Russia Heritage Collection is pleased to provide the Flasher 75th Jubilee Book. The book includes many family and historical photographs. There are community histories for: Brien, Fallon, Flasher, Lark, Raleigh, St. Gertrude's Parish, and Shields.

Many Germans from Russia immigrants from the Catholic Beresan District villages and from Krasna, Bessarabia, settled in the Flasher area including these families: Bachmeier, Barth, Berger, Bernhardt, Bohl, Braun, Brilz, Deichert, Doll, Eckroth, Erhardt, Ferderer, Fleck, Frank, Frederick, Friesz, Frohlich, Gerhardt, Grudem, Gustin, Harsche, Hatenbuhler, Hintz, Hoff, Hoffman, Hopfauf, Jochim, Koch, Kopp, Kraft, Kuhn, Kuntz, Leingang, Leintz, Loeb, Miller, Nagel, Reinke, Riehl, Schafer, Schaff, Scherr, Schmidt, Scholl, Schreiner, Stegmiller,
Ternes, Tishmack, Toman, Vetter, Vogel, Volk, Wagner, and Werner.

Many of these families immigratrated from the Beresan District mother colonies (South Russia): Kathariental, Karlsruhe, Landau, Speyer, and Sulz, today located near Odessa, Ukraine.
