Materials:

  • 1.7 mm steel crochet hook (Susan Bates size 5)
  • 790 yards White cotton crochet thread size 10

beg = beginning
Ch = chain
YO = yarn over
Sl st = slip stitch
SC = single crochet
DC = double crochet
TC = triple crochet (YO twice)

3-TC Cluster (worked over 3 DC): With one loop on hook, YO two times, pull thread through first DC. Work (pick up thread and pull through 2 loops on hook) two times -- retain loop on hook. YO two times, pull thread through 2nd DC, work (pick up thread and pull through 2 loops on hook) two times -- retain loop on hook. YO two times, pull thread through 3rd DC, work (pick up thread and pull through 2 loops on hook) two times -- retain loop on hook. Pick up thread and pull through all 4 loops now on hook [3-TC cluster made].

To start: Ch 8. Join with sl st in 1st chain to form beginning ring.
 
Row 1: Ch 4. Work 31 TC in beg ring. Join with sl st in 4th chain of beg Ch 4.
