I visited your college and really enjoy your campus. The information on the courses you offer was great. Thanks

My mother's family was from Bavaria; her maiden name was Wendel & her mother's maiden name was Messer. My mom used to make Knoephles fried in Saltine cracker crumbs; it was her mother's recipe. Served with pork, sauerkraut & pototos. Never heard Russia mentioned but who knows. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have just recently learned of the Russian part of my German heritage. My mother's grandparents, both sets, came from Russia after years of living there. Also, my better half appears to have German Russian lines. The names we are researching are: Becker, Stumpf and Hansan. I hope to learn more over the next several years to pass on to family members.

Sehr geehrter Herr Miller,

Herr Schuetz

My grandparents were Barbara and Christoph Ketterling who came from Odessa in 1889 and settled in what is now Streeter, ND. My father, Herbert, was the last of their 16 children and I am interested in tracing relatives of this huge family. My father's oldest sibling was Katie (Ketterling) Hoffman who was born on the ship or just after arrival in America. Eager to hear from anyone with information.
