Based on current budget projections, NDSU will need to embark upon another serials cancellation project during Spring Semester 1999.  The cancellations identified at this time will impact the FY2000 budget and go into effect January 2000.  The chief  reason for the cancellation remains the same as identified in the 1996 NDSU University Senate Library Committee Report -- relentless inflation on journal subscription prices combined with a static budget.
