Collection Management

Materials for the Libraries' collections are selected by Subject Librarians.  They are responsible for working with individual faculty or with departmental liaisons to choose books, journals and other materials which meet the research and teaching needs of the faculty and students of North Dakota State University.  The Collection Management Coordinating Team is responsible for allocating the instructional budget and coordinating collection management activities.  Collection development decisions are also guided by a strong cooperative spirit and awareness of resources located in the Tri-College, state, and region.
