Portrait of James Ozbun

Native of Carson, ND and named 11th NDSU President in May 1988. Earned his bachelor's (1959) and his master's (1961) in soil science from NDSU. His doctorate in 1964 in soils and plant pathology at NC State, Raleigh. Returned to NDSU after serving as Dean of the College of Agriculture and Home Economics at Washington State University, since 1982.
