Biography
 

Charlotte Bennett received her Bachelor's from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in 1964, her Master's from Louisiana State University in 1965, and her Ed.D. from Indiana University in 1978. Prior to coming to NDSU, she was Head and Professor, Department of Home Economics, Morehead State University, Morehead, Kentucky. In 1981 she joined NDSU as Associate Dean, College of Home Economics, Assistant Director of the Agricultural Station and Acting Chair, Department of Design. Upon the resignation of Jacqueline Voss, she was acting Dean, College of Home Economics from 1982-1983, and became the Dean in 1983. After a four-and-a-half-year battle with cancer, she passed away in September 1991.
