It was in the 1916-1917 Bulletin the division of Architecture and Architectural Engineering is first reported. When the School of Mechanic Arts was established in 1917, the following divisions were established: architecture and architectural engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, and physics. The 1984-1986 Bulletin shows the addition of the Department of Landscape Architecture, which had been approved in 1983. As of the 1990-1992 Bulletin Architecture and Landscape Architecture have combined into a single department.

The records are separated into four series. The first series Reports and Documents includes National Architectural Accrediting Board announcements and reports (1982-1994). The Subject series contains information on a 1938 student exhibit and show; a visiting lecture series announcement (1970-19721), and a program for the Beaux Arts awards ceremony (1994). The Publication series consists of issues of Foundation (1988-1998, gaps) which showcases student works and the Architecture and Landscape Architecture 1992-1993 yearbook. The Recruitment series contains brochures, booklets, and Fact Sheets on the Architecture and Landscape Architecture programs (1970s-2000s).
