The Humanities major is first found in the 1974-1976 bulletin and is listed as a “theme-centered interdisciplinary program in the arts, history, language, literature, philosophy, and religion.” As per the 2004-2006 bulletin, “Humanities is a theme-centered interdisciplinary program in the arts, history, literature, philosophy, and religion.”

The records consist of two folders: the Humanities Council, which administers the humanities major (1976-1979) and a fact sheet on the humanities major (1992).
