Administrative History
 

In the 1920 bulletin, Modern Languages is first found in the School of Science and Literature as a department with German and French as the offerings. By the 1944-1945 bulletin, Spanish had been added to the Modern Languages Department and these three languages were offered through the 2004 bulletin. As of 2005, French and Spanish were still offered as majors and German offered through the intermediate level. In addition, Latin and Greek were added, as well as first-year Arabic. Through Tri-College University Norwegian, Russian, Japanese and Chinese are also offered.

Scope and Content
 

The records consist of a faculty activity report from 1987-1988 and recruitment/PR material from the early 1990s.
