The initial beginning of criminal justice are found in the Sociology/Anthropology
Department in 1974 for student majoring in sociology with an emphasis
in community centered corrections. By 1978 the emphasis was called
crime, delinquency and correctional studies. By 1992 the emphasis
was now called criminal justice and stayed an emphasis in Sociology/
Anthropology until 2003. Effective July 1, 2003, the North Dakota
