She was selected as Vice President and Dean of Agricultural Affairs in June of 1997. Prior to joining NDSU, she was Executive Director of the Minnesota Agricultural Utilization Research Institute, Crookston, MN. Previous experience includes Acting Assistant Secretary, Marketing and Regulatory Programs, USDA; Executive Director, Minnesota Legislative Water Commission; Deputy Commissioner of Agriculture, State of Minnesota; and Director of Government Regulations, Pillsbury Company. She received a JD degree from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, MN and has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, MN. She stepped down from the position on December 31, 2004. |
