On May 1, 1992 he was named Associate Dean of the College of Agriculture, and Associate Director of the Agricultural Experiment Station. In October of 1993 he was named to a three year appointment as Dean of the College of Agriculture. Prior to coming to NDSU, he was a Professor and Head of the Department of Food Science, Penn State (1986-1992), and a Professor at the University of Nebraska (1969-1986). He earned his bachelor's in Chemistry from South Dakota State in 1965, both his masters (1966) and doctorate (1968) in biochemistry from Iowa State . In February of 1997, he resigned to take the position as Director of the Food and Agricultural Research and Technology Center at Oklahoma State University. |
