In November 2004, President Joseph A. Chapman announced that Dr. Ken Grafton, Director of the Agricultural Experiment Station, would assume the additional duties as Dean of the College of Agriculture, Food Systems and Natural Resources on January 1, 2005. He joined NDSU in 1980 as a post-doctoral research associate. In 1984 he was named a full Professor of Plant Sciences. He also served as the Associate Dean of the Graduate School (2001-2002) and was named the Director of the Agricultural Experiment Station in 2002. He has a bachelor's in agriculture (1974) and a master's in plant breeding and genetics (1977) from Ohio State. His doctorate is in plant breeding and genetics (1980) from the University of Missouri. |
