Little
is known about the Creamery other than it was a gift from citizens of Fargo
and Cass County and was added to Experiment Station. The Creamery was called
a model due the fact it that was thoroughly equipped with latest and most approved
appliances for manufacturing butter and cheese. Its addition to the College
and Experiment Station provided students with the opportunity for practical
experience (NDAC Catalog, 1895-1896, p 7).
