The collection contains a great deal of correspondence between the North Dakota Experiment Station and other state stations.  In this correspondence, employees discuss different agricultural trials they are working on as well as requests for assistance with their work.

There is also extensive documentation about cattle.  There are documents concerning meat investigations in North Dakota and other areas.  The findings from many of these investigations are included.  There are also papers on meat cooking separated by the type of meat.  This includes information about the temperature the meat should be cooked at and different ways to prepare it.  There is information regarding cattle and how they are slaughtered.  A few papers written by Experiment Station faculty that deal with beef are also included.
