History
The Gamma Chapter of Phi Sigma Biological Sciences Honor Society was the third chapter, established in 1916. The Gamma Chapter reinstalled at NDSU a number of times. In May 2005 the Chapter disbanded.

Scope and Contents
These records were turned over to the University Archives by the academic advisor of the chapter after it disbanded. These are by no means a complete record of the Gamma Chapter of Phi Sigma, since its origins go back to 1916 on the NDSU campus. Primarily the records are agenda and reports from the 1990s, membership records from 1987-2003; financial statements from 1995-2004, and general activities and information from the 1990s.
