About The Archives
The NDSU Archives serves as the official repository for the historically enduring records of North Dakota State University. The Archives consists of non-current official and unofficial records, publications, and information pertaining to the University's administrative offices, academic departments and faculty, extension service and agricultural experiment station, student organizations, and the University Community. The University Archives is always interested in donations to the collection by alumni and friends. For addition information about donating to the University Archives, please double click Donations.

Mission Statement
The NDSU Archives' mission is to appraise, collect, preserve, arrange, describe and make available important historical, legal, fiscal, administrative, and social records of the University.


University Records Transfer Form

University offices, departments, and organizations that will be transferring university records to the University Archives should use the linked form (NDSU University Archives Records Transmittal/Inventory Form). Prior to filling out the form, please contact the University Archives (1-1017 or 1-8914) for additional information on record transfer.  The form can be filled out on-line, but cannot be saved.  One you have filled out the form, please print the hard copy, which will accompany the records being transferred.
