Architecture/Landscape Architecture Library

The Architecture/Landscape Architecture Library is in Room 114 of Ehly Hall. Its collection includes more than 13,000 books and a periodical collection of 70 current subscriptions. Journals prior to 1975 are in storage and available through the Pull Service.

The Arch/LA Library has more than 38,000 individual slides classified by a system devised by the Department of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. More than 130 videos are also available.

Materials placed on reserve by Architecture and Engineering faculty are generally shelved at the circulation desk in the Arch/LA Library. Reserve items have limited circulation times and are listed in a roster at the circulation desk.

 

Chemistry Library

 

The H. J. Klosterman Chemistry Library is in Room 209 of Ladd Hall. The book collection contains more than 7,000 volumes. Older periodicals that have been moved to the library storage building are available through the Pull Service.

Reserve materials are usually designated for in-library use only. Ask at for reserve materials at the circulation desk.

Health Sciences Library

 

The Philip N. Haakenson Health Sciences Library is in Sudro Hall, Room 135. The book collection in the Health Sciences Library contains approximately 6,800 Pharmacy and Nursing volumes.

The Health Sciences Library currently subscribes to more than 100 periodicals in paper format, and has electronic access to hundreds more.

All Health Sciences journals older than 1990 are in storage off campus and can be requested through the Pull Service.

Institute for Regional Studies

The Institute for Regional Studies is in Room 117 of the Skills & Technology Center, located at 1301 N. 19th Avenue (north of the FargoDome). Materials related to North Dakota history are at the Institute. This includes materials from NDSU, Fargo, and the state. Items at the Institute for Regional Studies cannot be checked out, but a photocopier is available.

The Institute for Regional Studies is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. During the spring and fall semesters, the Wednesday hours run from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Please call ahead (231-8914) to verify evening hours.
