Endowments, Memorials, and Special Funds

Library Special Collections Endowment
This endowment was established to provide an ongoing source of funding for the Institute for Regional Studies and the University Archives. The funds generated will enable the archives to move forward with special projects and other needs. Uses will vary but may include book and equipment purchases, use as local match on grant proposals, acquisition of unique materials, or hire temporary employees for specific projects. Additional donations to this fund are welcome. Persons should contact the NDSU Development Foundation about making a contribution.

Bill Reid Memorial Fund
This fund was established to honor Institute curator, University Archivist, and NDSU history professor Bill Reid. Colleagues and friends of Bill wanted to remember him through the establishment of a fund dedicated to his memory and to support something about which he was especially proud - the Institute for Regional Studies. This fund is used to acquire unique materials relating to North Dakota and the surrounding region that enhance the collections already at the Institute.
